Metalcess refers to Metal process, launched in 2017, specialized in metallurgical engineering design & supply of customized equipment. The company specializes in metallurgy projects for extraction & recycling of metals such as Copper, Zinc, Lead, Tin and Precious Group Metal.
The company is located in Changsha, capital city of Hunan Province, a central province of China. Since its establishment, the company has been committed to integrating the most advanced metallurgical technology, automation control technology, factory virtual reality integration, and artificial intelligence control technology into the traditional non-ferrous metal metallurgy industry, bringing new opportunities for industrial upgrading to the non-ferrous metal metallurgy sector.
Metalcess now has a built-up team with more than 20 staff in office, including 10 plus engineers, responsible for process design, plant general drawing, piping & ventilation, furnace & kiln design, mechanical & hydraulic, electrical & automation. Key members are of 20 years’ working experience in the industry.
Metalcess has strong capability in electrical design and automation control, catering for tailored workshop SCADA process management and monitoring control system as per customer preference.
Metalcess has one manufacturing workshop (wholly-owned subsidiary) for fabrication, assembly & commissioning of non-standard machinery.

Metalcess specializes in the design and project general contracting of multiple fields including copper, lead, zinc, tin, precious metals, etc. It possesses proprietary technologies in various specialized fields and brings substantial investment returns to its clients' projects. Over the past 8 years, Metalcess has completed more than twenty pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical projects home and abroad.
Metalcess supplies complex system involving major equipment such as TBRC furnace, anode furnace, electrical furnace, tilting reverberatory furnace, and vacuum distillation furnace, wheel-type anode casting machine, copper/lead/zinc electrolysis equipment, copper/anode preparation machine, copper/zinc cathode stripping machine and other supporting machinery for the project or complex.
On the other hand, Metalcess focuses on the metal smelting and its byproduct recovery, for copper and lead anode slime recovery, zinc leaching residue treatment, and secondary metal recycling such as copper scrap recycling/WEEE recycling/zinc EAF dust recycling/ soldering tin purification.
